Texas Republic Bank is a true community bank headquartered in Frisco just north of the intersection of Preston Road and Highway 121.  The bank’s address is 2595 Preston Road, Frisco, TX 75034 and is located next door to Sam Moon and adjacent to the Stonebriar Mall.  An ATM and a motor bank are part of the banking facility.

Texas Republic Bank is a full service community bank that offers a wide variety of deposit and loan products.  Recently, Texas Republic Bank was acquired by TXRB Holdings, Inc. such that the bank is now under new management and is doing business with a new board of directors in place.  The new board has over 75 years of combined bank board experience and the new management team has over 175 years of combined banking experience. This management strength, coupled with an infusion of fresh capital, allows the bank to provide “banking like it oughta be.”

Charles “Buz” Rolfe is Chairman of the Board for Texas Republic Bank. He is a retired bank executive who is presently living in McKinney, Texas. Before moving to McKinney a couple of years ago, Rolfe resided for thirty years in the Canyon Creek neighborhood of Richardson.  Mr. Rolfe began his career in the field of banking in 1972. Prior to retiring he served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Canyon Creek National Bank, a community bank with locations in both Richardson and McKinney.

Tim Cantrell is Founder and Vice Chairman.  He is also one of the founders of The Cantrell Company, which is a multi-family property brokerage firm. In addition, Cantrell also founded Cantrell McCulloch, Inc., which specializes in property tax consultation; Fidelity Building and Construction, which is a company that provides renovation services for apartments; and Monticello Asset Management, Inc., which is a multi-family property management firm.  Mr. Cantrell is a graduate of Baylor University and originally grew up in McKinney.

Texas Republic’s President and Director David Baty has more than two and a half decades of experience as a bank executive in northern Dallas County and Collin County. Most recently, Baty served as Market President at First Community Bank (fka First Bank of Canyon Creek) in Richardson. Mr. Baty began his career in banking back in the mid-eighties with BancTexas Dallas.
